Sunny Hill Day 2 and 3

Day 2

Elizabeth says that she is "feeling better" and that she wants to use her left arm again.

She is still sleeping a lot and complaining of neck pain, probably the broken clavicle. We go to the nurses station at 7 am to get some Tylenol.

The swallow test has improved she is now on minced food and nectar like liquids.

At lunch time today Elizabeth could smell pan cakes and followed the smell, but there weren't any for her. I see on the menu that we can order them for breakfast next Thursday.

Elizabeth is ready for visitors, although you may just get to watch her sleep right now. The address here is 3644 Slocan Street, Vancouver BC and Elizabeth is in room 243, but the entrance with the buzzer that works is on 21st Avenue by the ambulance entrance. Visiting hours are 8-8 and the doors are locked after 6. The security guard isn't very fast so if we know you are coming we can get the door so call us at home or email.

Day 3

Elizabeth sleep through the night, a little bit of rolling around that woke me, but not her. She ate most of breakfast in two sittings.

Flower came in with mum to visit Elizabeth and they went for a walk out side. Janet and I had to study up on seizures, with the brain injury Elizabeth may have one so we need to know what to do if we want to take Elizabeth out of the building.
