Sunny Hill Day 11

Janet spent last night and today with Elizabeth. Janet didn't like the fold out bed so she slept with Elizabeth and didn't get that good a sleep. The drive home for me last night was quick 40 minutes and the dogs were very happy to see me. So far so good on the 24 hour shifts with Elizabeth.

Breakfast this morning was french toast which Elizabeth enjoyed.

A bath and hair wash after breakfast then they napped until 11.

Uncle Kelly came by for a visit, he helped with feeding and read a couple chapters of the rainbow ferry for Elizabeth too.

They got outside in the afternoon to look at the garden, but went through a door that is alarmed on the weekends, things we still have to learn.

Toni and Ken tried to come in to visit this afternoon, they even stopped by to bring Flower to visit Elizabeth. Unfortunately the Sunday afternoon traffic was bad, construction, accidents and the PNE all to blame. So they turned around and took the scenic route through Fort Langley, where they stopped and gave flower a walk, lucky dog.

Elizabeth got pasta for dinner at 4:45, which was so good she wanted more when I got here at 7:30.

This evening Elizabeth has been complaining about the cast hurting, she got some Tylenol  and we put some ice on a cloth on the cast. I read the instructoins that came with the cast and next we should try blowing cool air into the cast. Elizabeth is settled now, hopefully  she sleeps the night.

Janet looked at the schedule for tomorrow and Elizabeth has PT, Speech, Pool, Rec and OT tomorrow. I guess it will be busy, better make sure Elizabeth eats a good breakfast.
