Childrens Day 12

Last night the irritation subsided so they let Elizabeth sleep but at 3am it was back so they gave her a sedative. Which increased the sleep between the trashing around periods but at 6am Elizabeth managed to pull the feeding tube out again.

In the morning the nurse decided to see if Elizabeth could eat enough to sustain herself before re-inserting the feeding tube, so we are marking down everything she eats and the dietitian will check the calories. The tube is still out, I hope the sleeping will be better tonight. At breakfast Elizabeth liked everything but the cream of wheat, tomorrow she should get oatmeal I might have to squish a few blue berries in (just like home). Looking at the sheet, I see she ate a good lunch and dinner too.

I see that Elizabeth's walking is better today. Janet also seemed to think her understanding of the situation was better too.

No pictures for today, but a couple from aunt Kim's camera yesterday.

Taking the swallow test at the rehab room in the hospital, I think she likes to pudding judging from how full she got the spoon.

Learning how to move the left leg, apparently Elizabeth didn't like seeing herself in the mirror.
